Some sort of Spanish coin

I got this in the Dominican Republic and was told it’s an old Spanish coin sometime from the late 1400’s to early 1700’s. I was just wondering if anyone would be able to help me further identify this coin at all. Thank you so much in advance.

    You have a replica of a "klippe cob" coin from Spanish Mexico. If it were genuine, it would be a valuable piece. The surfaces of your coin do not look natural, and they betray its "replica" status. My picture shows a genuine klippe cob which is very similar to yours. My guess is that the counterfeiters who made your piece used the pictured coin as a pattern.
