Help with identification of reverse
Hello everyone, I have had this for several years and identified it as Hadrian denarius silver 119-112 ad Royal Imperial but cannot locate another with the reverse letters of PUDIC across the center. I believe it means public but the placement is on no others I can find.
Has anyone else seen this? If so why were the letters placed there? Possibly for certain events? Certain people?

Andi Pasculescu oh I caught the implication, all of the meanings caught my eye but i did not know scarcity or rarity, or mintage or survival. Paul is about to show that to me. I think.

William -- To get an idea of rarity, I searched in CoinArchivePro for "Hadrian pvdic." A total of 56 coins were returned. Of those 56, only 5 had the PVDIC at the center of the reverse. The other 51 had PVDCITIA around the rims. Here are two examples:
