Oh, I get it, JDD -- Yes -- The date appears at the bottom, under Miss Liberty's feet. I can't see it in the picture, but sometimes close inspection with a magnifier reveals the date. -- BTW -- This 'standing Liberty' design is one of my personal favorites.
