I found this coin. The only coin I can find similar to this one doesn't have the "and" inscription on it. Can someone tell me something about this coin?
Hi Laura -- It is very unlikely that your coin is authentic. The 'AND' you point out is a major deviation from a known genuine coin. Side-by-side comparisons like this are often helpful, but they are not 100 sure. Looking closely at the images reveals small differences between the coins. If you want to find out for sure, you must submit your coin to a professional authenticator. Look up PCGS, ICG, ANACS, and NGC on the Internet for these pros.
