  • Hi,

    Yes, they are Roman coins.

From just looking at your lot, I say you have coins from emperors" [ Not all I recognize ]

    - Licinius I

    - Constantine I?

    - Constantius II

    - Byzantine Follis

Would you be able to retake a photo of the coin on the second row down, coin at the far left. I think it may be of Constantine I.

I would say the entire lot is worth around $50 odd, presuming that there is nothing rare, as this estimate is based on the assumption that there are the typical coinage from those emperors I recognize.

As a re seller of Roman coins, I say I would pay around $20, an average of around $1-2 per coin, slightly more if it is sold to coin shops.
